I hear great things about these blades, especially those from Spyderco. Personnaly, if I needed a big combat folder, I'd go with a Spyderco Military or Police, or one of Cold Steel 4-5'' folders. They are probably made to look cool and tough, and to be abused just for the heck of it. Large, often overbuilt and often too expensive. IMO, they seem to be to knives what Cold Steel swords are to.
